petty annoyances

That’s what rules my life.

Pet­ty an­noy­ances.

Hyp­o­crit­i­cal Re­pub­li­cans, Putin, pol­lu­tion, racism, misog­y­ny, hate, rape, mass shoot­ings, child abuse, ad nau­se­am.

Yes, all these things are Pet­ty an­noy­ances in the grand scheme of hu­man­i­ty.

Hu­man­i­ty has al­ways been on the road to wis­dom, jus­tice, fair­ness.

I let these Pet­ty an­noy­ances and mi­nor ob­sta­cles dis­turb me, up­set me, and rule my life.

These Pet­ty an­noy­ances and ob­sta­cles get in the way of the im­por­tant job I have to do, which is be­ing a de­cent thought­ful hu­man be­ing and an ex­am­ple.

They fill me with frus­tra­tion and anger which is pro­ject­ed on every­thing I do and every­one I en­counter.

The fu­ture will deal with these Pet­ty an­noy­ances – in its own time, not mine.

My time is very lim­it­ed, the future’s isn’t.

My time is meant to be joy­ful as I said, an ex­am­ple, not filled with rag­ing at the ma­chine.

Deal­ing with Pet­ty an­noy­ances and a mi­nor ob­sta­cles should be done with Grace not with Force.

For as we all know any­time you try to force some­thing it swells in re­sis­tance …

Now if I could only have thought of that ear­li­er to­day when I was try­ing to force a cab­i­net to fit, and then broke it …
