Just yesterday Darcy Totten and I were watching the West Wing episode where a Supreme Court Justice almost died.

They thought the justice was dead but he laid in the hospital for a week and recovered. Toby was expressing how rare and important it was to be in an administration who gets to choose a Supreme Court member. For a brief moment my mind turned to RBG and said a subconscious prayer.

Now is now and I’m crushed.

The only thing giving me solace is this thing I heard just recently, when a legend dies it’s because they know they can do more good on the other side of the veil then they could here.

I have to believe that when she let her last breath go, she was already plotting about what good trouble she was about to get into with John Lewis on our behalf.

I must believe that she is 2000% about to put a wrench in all of the plans of these shameful politicians who have denied justice for so many.

I hope she’s ready to cancel Christmas for all those who think they can break Democracy and get away with it. My heart goes out to her family and to those who knew her.

Rest now Ruth – your’s was a life well lived.
