I always wave and say what up to the kids on my block.
They know me as the weirdo art guy with the hug statue in his front yard who lets them use his driveway as a turnaround spot for bikes and boards. Lately they’ve been doorbell ditching me once a week or so.
Every time I just get so hype that I lived long enough to be the old man on the block who the kids can play with.
Also I’ve picked up on their patterns and I’m pretty sure one of these days I’m going to greet them at the door as a pink gorilla or a unicorn and they gonna really find out who they’re messing with. 🦄
It’s the little things man.
