“The rumored production woes had some fans clamoring for an alternate ‘Snyder cut’ soon after the theatrical release, leading to a social media campaign that occasionally got ugly. In May, Snyder confirmed that his cut would air on HBO Max during a virtual watch party for Man of Steel, insisting it would feel like an entirely different movie, with new visual effects sequences, additional character development, and some added dialogue.”

There’s this weird insecurity thing comic-loving manchildren do where it’s not enough to be catered to by nearly the entirety of our cultural pipeline, they have to be reassured that theirs is an entertainment for learned adults, cuz sometimes the punching stops long enough for talking.
Are some comic flicks legit? Sure.
And lots of comic tv content (Watchmen, The Boys) is transcendent.
But that’s not what Zack makes and that’s certainly not what his fanboys are about.
You said you enjoyed the theatrical cut of Justice League like you enjoy your Saturday morning cartoons… Well this is made for grownups, so you’re not in the demographic. Also, cool of you to comment on a leaked teaser. @ScottMendelson https://t.co/Zsu2O2oixb

Also dropped this weekend:
Could this be the Batman movie I’ve wanted to see since 1988?
Signs point to yes.
