He threw down his chalk in anger, but every piece just kept hit­ting him and rolling grace­ful­ly to the floor, also elic­it­ing ap­plause.

As a re­sult, the only re­main­ing Uni­ver­si­ty with a chalk­board fi­nal­ly made the leap to dry erase.
