I’m stoked to be one of this year’s speak­ers at De­sign Field Notes speak­er se­ries in­clud­ed in the Ja­cobs In­sti­tute for De­sign In­no­va­tion at UC Berke­ley.

While the talk is called
In­ter­sec­tions of Art, Craft, and De­sign —
I’ll be chat­ting much more about
craft’s place in mod­ern so­ci­ety and our re­spon­si­bil­i­ty in con­nect­ing, pro­mot­ing, and liv­ing in a healthy in­clu­sive com­mu­ni­ty.

Also
I’ll be cov­er­ing lots of what’s been hap­pen­ing here at The Aes­thet­ic Union and in my own artis­tic prac­tice over the last year or so. I’ll be dis­cussing how I keep the hu­man el­e­ment front and cen­ter, in an in­creas­ing­ly de­hu­man­iz­ing and late cap­i­tal­is­tic dig­i­tal hellscape. It should be a blast!
