“Cancel Culture is a bullshit moniker made up by people who need to label consequence. Public shaming goes as far back as the dawn of man.
Plus the very idea of ‘canceling’ someone is stupid. Even if you kill them, the work they did still exists, and people who appreciate it will continue to engage.
No one has ever truly been ‘canceled.’
Rock and Roll Part 2 continues to be played at sporting events and in film soundtracks.
You can still find films directed by Victor Salva.
It’s not something that exists. Talking about it gives some people the false illusion of veto power over things they can’t control, and other people get to play victim or – worse – believe they have a ‘cause’ to protest, which they don’t, since they can usually dry their tears over lost fans with a stack of hundreds.”

In hindsight, we all got played hard by Dave Chappelle.
He walked away from his own insanely successful show because of a sketch he didn’t agree with doing and hid from the spotlight for years until he got grossed out by transgender people and decided he needed to say something about it.
That’s it. That’s literally what happened. Dude is a piece of shit and maybe always has been.
The lesson is that there is no such thing as “cancel culture” the way these dudes try to say there is.
