In hind­sight, we all got played hard by Dave Chappelle.

He walked away from his own in­sane­ly suc­cess­ful show be­cause of a sketch he didn’t agree with do­ing and hid from the spot­light for years un­til he got grossed out by trans­gen­der peo­ple and de­cid­ed he need­ed to say some­thing about it.

That’s it. That’s lit­er­al­ly what hap­pened. Dude is a piece of shit and maybe al­ways has been.

The les­son is that there is no such thing as “can­cel cul­ture” the way these dudes try to say there is.
