(and you’re invited)
I’m stoked to be one of this year’s speakers at Design Field Notes speaker series included in the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation at UC Berkeley.
While the talk is called
Intersections of Art, Craft, and Design —
I’ll be chatting much more about
craft’s place in modern society and our responsibility in connecting, promoting, and living in a healthy inclusive community.
Also
I’ll be covering lots of what’s been happening here at The Aesthetic Union and in my own artistic practice over the last year or so. I’ll be discussing how I keep the human element front and center, in an increasingly dehumanizing and late capitalistic digital hellscape. It should be a blast!
This talk will be viewable through Zoom.
I hope you’re able to attend, and check out all the other amazing Tuesday artists’ talks if you can.
