sort of …
for people who are bad at remembering names but not faces …
when they say their first name look at their eyes and when they say their last name look at their mouth
these are the two things we look at when we speak to someone anyway right?
almost spell the first name across their eyes and then the last name across their mouth …
my usual go-to for retaining new people’s names is to simply say it back out loud after they’ve introduced themselves but with this secondary element of facial feature association has gotta be bullet-proof right?
just an idea since I’m in an industry where I get introduced to important people often but more importantly people whose names I don’t want to forget.
let me know how it goes.
