Se­ri­ous ques­tion for my White friends:

What are you go­ing to do to en­sure that we don’t re­turn to our reg­u­lar­ly sched­uled racism once Biden takes of­fice?

His elec­tion does not sig­nal the end of the bat­tle for racial eq­ui­ty in our coun­try by any stretch and I want to make sure that we are all tru­ly com­mit­ted to ful­ly dis­man­tling the White Su­prema­cist sys­tem in this coun­try re­gard­less of who is in of­fice.

It was easy to chan­nel our dis­gust with Trump and his bootlick­ing Nazi ex­trem­ists into sup­port for Black Lives Mat­ter and oth­er sol­i­dar­i­ty move­ments, but what are we go­ing to do to con­tin­ue the work on our­selves and find ways to pro­vide even more sup­port than we ever have to these com­mu­ni­ties even when we are back to be­ing more com­fort­able un­der Lib­er­al lead­er­ship?

I don’t need an an­swer, I just want to make sure we are all think­ing about this as we progress for­ward.
