‘rabid’ bernie

Yep, maybe use of the Bernie meme is more sym­bol­ic than in­tend­ed –

use of other’s prop­er­ty with­out care for who pays for it,
main­tains it,
and who’ll have to re­pair it.

I point this out as a Mod­er­ate De­mo­c­rat, who is fa­tigued by that ‘rad­i­cal left’ that has no an­swers re­gard­ing ‘who foots the bill’ with­out it com­ing across as want­i­ng to burn down an eco­nom­ic sys­tem, prob­lems and all, that has brought huge in­no­va­tion and ben­e­fit to the cit­i­zens of this coun­try, and the world.

Yes, we have gross im­bal­ances in wealth dis­tri­b­u­tion, and that can be fixed via fis­cal poli­cies, yet those who are ‘ra­bid’ about it, like ‘Bernie,’ only alien­ate those who are need­ed to sway di­rec­tion; the Mas­sive Mod­er­ate Mid­dle, who oth­er­wise have much in agree­ment with the fur­ther pro­gres­sive end of the po­lit­i­cal spec­trum.

But I see a light fi­nal­ly break­ing upon the hori­zon, I ‘see’ it, hope to ‘be’ it –

all ac­knowl­edge­ment to the won­drous poet, Aman­da Gor­man!
