dic­tio­nar­ies are fas­ci­nat­ing
they’re full of words that have de­f­i­n­i­tions
so many have more than one de­f­i­n­i­tion
and it is some­thing (just like any com­mu­nica­tive lan­guage) that is ever-evolv­ing or be­ing-ap­pend­ed – just like we are

maybe every­one should have their own per­son­al dic­tio­nar­ies
start writ­ing down every word that de­fines you
and con­tin­ue to write
whether it’s dai­ly or week­ly or month­ly or even at the end of every year
write down every­thing that de­fines you
and then look back oc­ca­sion­al­ly and you’ll see your own progress

we are per­pet­u­al­ly de­fined but we can be en­light­ened enough to un­der­stand and choose to not lim­it our­selves to those de­f­i­n­i­tions
we know there is al­ways more to be writ­ten
