in the air tonight

Long af­ter I quit smok­ing cig­a­rettes, I’d some­times sneak a puff in my head …

Last night, I had a mas­sive par­ty in a new house. I couldn’t be­lieve how many peo­ple came.

If you’re read­ing this, you were prob­a­bly there. Y’all were rockin and spray­paint­ing nice mes­sages on my walls (a good thing for some rea­son) and talk­ing to my dog who wit­ti­ly con­versed back (like he kin­da does).

There were at least three bands in this sprawl­ing new set up (that used to be a wing of a grade­school). We danced like fools and had great time. Then I re­al­ized NO ONE was wear­ing masks and HALF OF THEM were not vac­ci­nat­ed and we’d all been up right close and I was freaked out that it had tak­en me for­ev­er to no­tice and that I was re­spon­si­ble for the care­less­ness, and then I woke up.
 

Well. Snuck one in any­way.

Nice to see every­body. That was great fun.
