2016 should have been a wake-up call that you can­not just with­draw from pol­i­tics and you cer­tain­ly can’t just bail when you don’t have the pos­si­bil­i­ty of a per­fect out­come.

We have to stay in the fight and fur­ther we need to cut every piece of dead weight. That’s protest vot­ers, that’s smug ‘two sides of the same coin’ non­vot­er id­iots, that’s every­one that isn’t will­ing to do the work and push.
 

This ^ is the #Trump­Ef­fect and it is ab­solute­ly counter to what our coun­try is sup­posed to be about. This is why Trump sup­port­ers won’t be re­deemed. Ever.

Things I’ve learned from a year spent ar­gu­ing with Trump-sup­port­ing mo­rons on­line: There are a sub­stan­tial num­ber of frag­ile MRA dudes out there who have no game at all so they bought Tes­las think­ing that was some sort of fin­ish line and go­ing for­ward in life they could just play it like a Wild Card in con­ver­sa­tion and peo­ple would in­stant­ly give a shit in spite of how lit­tle sense that does­n’t even *at­tempt* to make.
