What’s at stake to­day

is much big­ger than re­pro­duc­tive rights – as I feel it, these de­ci­sions are a barom­e­ter for how cher­ished or dis­re­spect­ed the fem­i­nine is; and that mea­sure­ment sig­nals the tra­jec­to­ry we’re on—how clean our air will be, if or not our soil will be re­gen­er­at­ed in time to avoid eco­log­i­cal col­lapse, if forests will be re­grown, oceans cleaned up, mi­cro and macro re­la­tion­ships re­paired …
 

I love the mas­cu­line, I rev­el in it.

But any­one who’s got their eyes on the Big Wheel turn­ing right now will tell you the scales are too tipped and there’s not enough ven­er­a­tion of the fem­i­nine for hu­mankind to thrive.
