The most em­pow­er­ing way to take con­trol of your life is to have full bod­i­ly au­ton­o­my.

Politi­cians know it, church­es know it, misog­y­nists know it. That is why they don’t want us to have it.

For­mer junkies and ex-con­victs who find Je­sus want to con­trol our lives be­cause they were nev­er able to con­trol their own.

Politi­cians and church lead­ers want to con­trol our lives for mon­ey and pow­er.

Peo­ple raised in the church who are brain­washed have been con­trolled their whole lives and think every­one else should be con­trolled, too.

It’s all about con­trol. They hate it when they can’t con­trol you.

It’s not about ba­bies, re­gret, god, the sanc­ti­ty of life, any of that eter­nal­ly-re­peat­ed non­sense. Even if they say it is and gen­uine­ly be­lieve that it is, it is still all about con­trol.
