Sometimes,
I feel like an ableist piece of shit for knowing that at my core I’m actually pretty against SSRIs;
then I remember that I went to a doctor asking for 4 Valium and instead got put on a football player sized dose of a drug that permanently altered my sex life
(and life in general),
and realize that I’m mainly just against the overprescription of a drug that permanently alters people’s brain chemistry
and am actually fed up of being guilt tripped for that by people
that don’t have a problematic relationship with their drugs
and don’t know what I’ve gone through.
