If I could scream this from the rooftops and reach you, I would do it in a heart­beat.

I would tell you that you have it all back­wards – that you don’t have to prove your worth to a soul oth­er that than yours, the world should be proud to have you.

There is so much that I could tell you. Some­times the words spill out and I have to put it in a poem, oth­er times the words slip them­selves un­der my tongue – there but just out of reach.

I just want to say thank you. Thank you for be­ing brave, self­less, and strong when you feel like you can’t be any­thing at all. Thank you for choos­ing to stay.

I just want to re­mind every­one how dif­fi­cult it is to seek help for your­self, no mat­ter how big your safe­ty net is to fall into.

got your feet
