Those of you who have known me for awhile, know how this time of year goes down for me.

Though, no one has come to my door yet, I know for a fact it is Girl Scout Cook­ie sea­son be­cause that is what al­ways throws me off my New Year’s res­o­lu­tions to drop the hol­i­day weight.

I know it’s an in­escapable dis­rup­tion too be­cause all these mini-hu­mans are walk­ing around ex­hibit­ing the cru­cial fem­i­nist val­ues we hold in high es­teem by in­tro­duc­ing them­selves with their pro­nouns, en­gag­ing in STEM, and own­ing their pow­er to speak up and be con­fi­dent, giv­ing me a much-need­ed boost of hope for the fu­ture every year, and then I get so en­am­ored with them, I may as well just hand them my deb­it card and pin num­ber be­cause no mat­ter what, I’m end­ing up with ALL of their cook­ies.

.… and I will eat them be­cause I have no self-con­trol and also, they are cook­ies so 🤷🏻‍♀️.

With COVID, I’m pret­ty sure I won’t see them this year and that sucks. So I’m gonna need you parents/ aunts/ un­cles to give it up, I know you have the web­site links that will lead me to the cook­ies to sup­port these lit­tle badass­es.
