Y’all thought your racist friends and rel­a­tives re­vealed their true hor­ri­ble selves two years ago, but you nev­er ex­pect­ed this mi­grant cri­sis would show you how far down they’d re­al­ly sink.

And yet evan­gel­i­cals have nev­er been so solid­ly be­hind a pres­i­dent. It’s not a re­li­gion, it’s a white su­prema­cist cult.

If the only pieces of scrip­ture you can ever seem to ref­er­ence are “ren­der unto Cae­sar” and “man shall not lay with man,” then maybe you aren’t so much a Chris­t­ian as you are just an ass­hole.

Don’t let the tear­gassing of chil­dren flee­ing vi­o­lence dis­tract you from what re­al­ly mat­ters:

Baris­tas might not say “Mer­ry Christ­mas” to you.

Re­move the lead­ers from of­fice and re­move their fol­low­ers from your life.

You don’t need to as­so­ciate with peo­ple that con­done this and they don’t de­serve you.

Once again we fail to live up to the lie we tell our­selves about Amer­i­ca.
