When I was a kid my parents had people over and they were watching the Stones’ concert flick Let’s Spend the Night Together.
Us kids were shoo’d from the room. When I asked why, the adults said “because this is a dirty movie.”
Realizing it was an open air concert I asked how it could possibly be dirty?
I’m pretty sure (but can’t recall for exactly) it was my aunt Geri who told me that there were no bathrooms on the stage so they went to the bathroom up there in front of everybody and that’s why it was inappropriate for children.
I believed this for years even though it never occurred to me to question why they wouldn’t just edit the pooping out.
