The LAST thing any of us should be do­ing is us­ing Dr. King’s lega­cy to brow­beat the Black com­mu­ni­ty.

If you hon­est­ly think he’d be crit­i­ciz­ing the meth­ods of BLM pro­tes­tors, you need to pick up some of his writ­ings be­cause you’ve got him fucked up.

No mat­ter what re­vi­sion­ist white­washed bull­shit you want to paint him with the fact re­mains Dr. King was a rad­i­cal ac­tivist who crit­i­cized White com­pla­cen­cy and be­lieved strong­ly (and RIGHT­LY) in the ef­fi­ca­cy of civ­il dis­rup­tion.

Which means he would nev­er have tak­en to the podi­um to lam­bast BLM shut­ting down free­ways, so you can fuck off with that noise. The way some of us talk about him is so fuck­ing stu­pid it makes me won­der if any of us have ever even read a book.
