This past Sat­ur­day, I met a woman named Con­stance who re­mind­ed me of the constants. 

She rep­re­sent­ed a con­stant in my life. 

She re­mind­ed me di­vin­i­ty was constant. 

And that self love and the love of oth­ers is a con­stant process. 

Life is full of con­stant reminders.

We be think­ing nor­mal is mag­ic and mag­ic is normal.

Black women are superheroes.
Blessed to stand be­side them while they stand be­hind each other.

No fes­ti­val stage or award I’ve been giv­en comes close to the hon­or of tak­ing the streets with Black Lives Mat­ter. Every time.
