interpreting kanye’s sacramento ‘performance’

I’m an­gry over this Sacra­men­to Kanye shit right now.

It makes me re­al­ize how fuck-upped our gen­er­a­tion is too.

Peo­ple who weren’t even there think they have a right to be pissed off.

I was there.
He was like a chained-up an­i­mal on that plat­form – which I think was his in­tent.
It was sav­age for him to just be there,
to per­form.
 

We get mad at things,
things we don’t un­der­stand,
things we don’t re­late to.
We be­come slaves to opin­ions that are not our own.

And I be­lieve that’s part of the point he was mak­ing.

He is tired of be­ing a slave to this shit,
It’s all still about slav­ery – to­day.

All of our so­ci­ety is en­slaved.
We are trained so well.

And from an artist’s view, Kanye’s ‘per­for­mance’ was fuck­ing bril­liant.

Yes, per­for­mance.
It was so or­ga­nized, and went off with­out any is­sues.
And it looked planned.

It was a so­cial ex­per­i­ment.
And I hate the re­spons­es for be­ing so fuck­ing stu­pid.

Yes, the id­iots didn’t get it.

They did­n’t get it and I don’t think they ever will.
Not in this cur­rent time.

You didn’t get it
be­cause you are still out there pay­ing mon­ey for some­one else to pro­vide vi­sions you can’t see be­cause your fuck­ing eyes are closed.
 

Your mouth is closed. Your mind is closed.

And guess what: Noth­ing is ever go­ing to ful­fill that emp­ty void in your soul,

the way you feel,

mon­ey, clothes, de­grees, Snapchat sto­ries, In­sta­gram pho­tos, and try­ing to be a part of pop­u­lar cul­ture –

NONE of it will do it for you.
 

Stop be­ing a piss poor ex­cuse for an in­tel­li­gent an­i­mal ca­pa­ble of cre­at­ing –

AND stop suck­ing and bleed­ing dry
the ones the white man puts on stage for you.
