The web page will be avail­able for ONE DAY ONLY thurs­day 23 april 2020 and WE WILL CUT OFF SUB­MIS­SIONS at MID­NIGHT PA­CIF­IC DAY­LIGHT TIME – with the plan be­ing we fin­ish pro­duc­tion on the ZINE be­fore we cross the In­ter­na­tion­al Date Line, end­ing 23 April 2020.

Any­thing sub­mit­ted AF­TER the site is down will not be con­sid­ered. Well, be­cause the UP­LOAD tool will be gone.

THE FI­NAL edi­tion of FlomZINEm N°1. will be avail­able as a PDF down­load.

The graph­ic de­sign will be based on the AVANT GARDE art jour­nals of the ORIG­I­NAL MOD­ERNS, the DADAists, Fu­tur­ists, Sur­re­al­ists, and be­yond.

Our der­Tung blog is a güd ex­am­ple of wat we nor­mal­ly pub­lish, as is wat we stream on our pod­cast.

We are look­ing for nü things and – based on our re­cent man­i­festo – for us, nü means ‘MOD­ERN.’

ART
WE’RE look­ing for PAINT­INGS, PHO­TOG­RA­PHY, IL­LUS­TRA­TION, SCULP­TURE, DE­SIGN, just about any­thing that falls in the cat­e­go­ry of ‘ART.’

WRIT­ING
THE WRIT­TEN WORKS of AU­THORS,  JOUR­NAL­ISTS, PO­ETS, HIS­TO­RI­ANS, BARDS, THE­O­RISTS, STU­DENTS, MA­NI­ACS, and pret­ty much ANY­ONE WHO MAKES WORDS of SOME SORT. AND they don’t ac­tu­al­ly have to be WORDS.

Page size for FlomZINEm will be Eu­ro­pean A3 (297 x 420 mm, 11.7 x 16.5″) – we are de­sign­ing this to be a LARGE pub­li­ca­tion, tho fi­nal down­load­able PDF can be read on­line or print­ed at any size.

With this is mind – in the best ver­sion of our uni­verse – all art­work will be CYMK-friend­ly, colour cor­rect­ed with pix­el-based im­ages at 300 dpi and vec­tor files ready to print.

Tho, we do not live in a per­fect uni­verse, so we’re go­ing to do some­thing to­tal­ly wrong here, that be­ing: WE’LL AC­CEPT ANY­THING YOU SEND US.

AND if it doesn’t print well or if you can’t see it in the ZINE cause it’s too light or too dark, well, too bad.

We’re as­sum­ing FlomZINEm will most­ly be viewed on­line – so this time out, we’re not go­ing to wor­ry about too many tech and res­o­lu­tion de­tails. This all said …

•  First come first served for space in the ZINE.

•  We re­serve the right to edit and sim­ply not use every­thing sub­mit­ted. If some ma­te­ri­als bet­ter fit our blogs, we will let you know.

•  Please let us know how you’d like to be cred­it­ed. Real name or not. We would love to pro­mote your so­cial net­works or web­site.

•  Copy­right: You own your own copy­right. We will cred­it YOU with a cir­cle © un­less you state oth­er­wise.

•  All work must be your own. Cause if it isn’t, that’s not cool.

•  Text must be in a text file or a Google Doc (pre­ferred). Un­less it is art­work. Please do not send us text in a Pho­to­shop file un­less it’s art.

•  Flat­ten your damn Pho­to­shop file! If your files are too large and we can­not down­load them, we prob­a­bly won’t in­clude them in the ZINE.

•  We re­serve the right to change all this in case we for­got some­thing here. It IS our very first ZINE.

•  Re­mem­ber to be nice to oth­ers, eat all your veg­gies, but al­ways wash them first. The veg­gies. Maybe the oth­ers too.
