There is no rea­son for these mas­sive, dead­ly and cost­ly for­est fires in Cal­i­for­nia ex­cept that for­est man­age­ment is so poor. Bil­lions of dol­lars are giv­en each year, with so many lives lost, all be­cause of gross mis­man­age­ment of the forests. Rem­e­dy now, or no more Fed pay­ments!

While Trump blames for­est main­te­nance, here some oth­er rea­sons Cal­i­for­nia is dry and flam­ma­ble – and maybe why peo­ple go men­tal. Let’s look at how every­thing is con­nect­ed and start ac­knowl­edg­ing our re­spon­si­bil­i­ties to change the course.

•  Gov­ern­men­tal pro­grams: The spray­ing of stron­tium, bar­i­um, alu­minum re­sults in high­ly flam­ma­ble par­tic­u­late ac­cu­mu­la­tion in at­mos­phere, coat­ing cars, trees, grass­es, farms, homes.

•  6 out of the 10 worst par­tic­u­late-pol­lut­ed cities are in Cal­i­for­nia.

•  Sanc­tioned geo­engi­neer­ing and weath­er mod­i­fi­ca­tion pro­grams are strength­en­ing wild­fires in dry ar­eas and storms in hu­mid at­mos­pheres.

•  Di­rect En­er­gy Weapon de­vel­op­ment pro­grams (see Lock­heed + Mar­tin site) called into ques­tion for caus­ing fires.

And the toll on us:

•  NOx gas­es, par­tic­u­late pol­lu­tion, and the bioac­cu­mu­la­tion of tox­ins, like those in non-or­gan­ic foods, are linked to brain disease—alzheimers, de­men­tia, plus asth­ma, al­ler­gies, weak­ened im­mu­ni­ty.

As­sume there won’t be any pol­i­cy shifts, CHANGE YOUR­SELF, WHAT YOU PUT INTO AND ONTO YOUR BODY, AND WHAT YOU BUY. We need to slash emis­sions im­me­di­ate­ly on our own.

Here’s one ef­fec­tive way:

•  Fol­low­ing pro­posed Glob­al Di­etary Guide­lines alone, green­house gas emis­sions would be re­duced by ¹⁄₃. With a shift to plant-based diet, GHG EMIS­SIONS WOULD DROP 70%, pro­duc­ing a sav­ings of $700 billion-$1 tril­lion per year on health­care (Na­tion­al Acad­e­my of Sci­ences glob­al study).

We are the biore­me­di­a­tors, we’re ca­pa­ble of lev­el­ing up and forc­ing a glob­al shift.

How much dis­as­ter does it take to make peo­ple change their ways? Plen­ty peo­ple al­ready on board, there’s much to do.

Hu­man­i­ty emerges in times like this, let’s put that en­er­gy to sus­tain­able use.
