Yep, maybe use of the Bernie meme is more symbolic than intended –
use of other’s property without care for who pays for it,
maintains it,
and who’ll have to repair it.
I point this out as a Moderate Democrat, who is fatigued by that ‘radical left’ that has no answers regarding ‘who foots the bill’ without it coming across as wanting to burn down an economic system, problems and all, that has brought huge innovation and benefit to the citizens of this country, and the world.
Yes, we have gross imbalances in wealth distribution, and that can be fixed via fiscal policies, yet those who are ‘rabid’ about it, like ‘Bernie,’ only alienate those who are needed to sway direction; the Massive Moderate Middle, who otherwise have much in agreement with the further progressive end of the political spectrum.
But I see a light finally breaking upon the horizon, I ‘see’ it, hope to ‘be’ it –
all acknowledgement to the wondrous poet, Amanda Gorman!
