Everyone’s seen the meme about how Amer­i­ca doesn’t need a wall but a mir­ror.

Well, we got one. We got a huge one.

Trump is a mas­sive gild­ed van­i­ty mir­ror hewn of cheap sil­i­ca and framed in tacky paste and gold tem­pra. And it is as un­for­giv­ing as any sodi­um-lit fun­house mir­ror you’ve ever been in front of.

Most of y’all have had over a week gaz­ing into it to see just what hor­ri­ble, aw­ful peo­ple lurk in your friends, your fam­i­ly, your of­fices.
 

 

She was right. About every­thing.
And now we’re all liv­ing with the con­se­quences of y’all not lis­ten­ing.

I’m not sure where we go from here. Or if there’s any­where *to* go. Cer­tain­ly nowhere good. As jad­ed as we can all be, it’s hard to wash off see­ing so many of your fel­low men and women glee­ful­ly re­veal what soul­less ghouls they’ve re­al­ly been this en­tire time.

I guess we work to get out the vote in No­vem­ber to save what­ev­er hasn’t been ran­sacked and torched by the trai­tors and the grifters but to be hon­est I’m not even sure we are worth sav­ing at this point.

I de­test us­ing the Roy­al We on stuff like this as it tends to shack­le you to the worst peo­ple, but it’s the worst peo­ple that have tak­en over and they were aid­ed and abet­ted by our dumb­est and most self-ab­sorbed.
