y’all re­mem­ber the ear­ly aughts ‘gross look­ing’ trend?

It re­al­ly came into its own with Xti­na around Dirrrrty but there was lots of it around for a minute. Crazy Town had that look too. The oiled up dy­ing of con­sump­tion gross filthy aesthetic.

Every­one had her­pes and those sor­ry few that didn’t jock­eyed hard to get it. Paris Hilton was in vogue and dance­floors the world over teemed with cold sores.
