I didn’t know what the vulture symbolizes when this drawing came out of me, but I knew this image was a reminder of the patience it takes to create an inner, psychological territory where all is right no matter who is doing what, or what is happening on the outside.
And then I learned it’s said that the vulture reminds you to choose paths that support your higher consciousness; to use all your knowledge and past experiences to approach obstacles from new angles, and to honor that you may be fiercely protective of those you feel responsible for, but to know when to allow them to sink or swim.
