I’m more pre­pared than ever for any­thing –

the mon­key-wrench­es,
the last minute jobs,
death cy­cles,
heart­break,
grief,
just give to all to me.

I’ll hold up my catcher’s mitt and catch it like a pro.

Frus­tra­tion,
pain,
and fear do not end,
but the will­ing­ness to hold and move through them does – 

and THAT you can look for­ward to,
if you work for it.

I know what to do with those feel­ings now: all kinds of things.

Can you take it, I ask my­self.
