A lot of people don’t know this.

But when he appeared as Indy’s dad in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) Sean Connery was just 28 years old.

Compare that to Harrison Ford’s age of 73 in Crystal Skull (2008) and you see just what a special presence Connery brought to the screen.

Perhaps he’s remembered best for the iconic red speedo and suspenders combo he wore in 1987’s The Untouchables where he said the classic line

“The penis is evil. The gun is good. That’s the Chicago way and that’s how you get Capone.”

RIP Sir Sean.
