Go­ing on over a week with no in­ter­net at home.

Last night Mad­die and I watched Mama Mia on a thing called a dvd play­er. It was amaz­ing I didn’t have to log in to Net­flix or HBO. Just put this fun­ny look­ing disk thingy in and bam! No ads no noth­in’, just a movie.

I also have been read­ing from print­ed pa­per in a bind­ing ap­par­ent­ly called a book?

I got so bummed out from pol­i­tics I start­ed read­ing, Win­nie the Pooh, the book my mom read to me, still have it.

No vi­o­lence, no back­stab­bing, no pol­i­tics, no sex, no be­tray­al, just Pooh and his friends. Re­mem­ber what that was like?

Just Pooh and Piglet hav­ing ad­ven­tures … now they are hon­ored with a ridicu­lous plas­tic sculp­ture in down­town.

We have all been Eey­ores over the past cou­ple of years, our thoughts are al­ways fol­lowed up with neg­a­tive replies like:

“If it is a good morn­ing, which I doubt.”

“Wish I could say yes, but I can’t.”

“Most like­ly lose it again, any­way.”

“I’d say this­tles, but no­body lis­tens to me, any­way.”

Last­ly my fa­vorite to de­scribe just how much we want to be un­hap­py:

“Sure is a cheer­ful col­or. Guess I’ll have to get used to it.”

I don’t know about any­one else,
but I could use a lot less Eey­ore,
and a lot more Pooh.
