Going on over a week with no internet at home.
Last night Maddie and I watched Mama Mia on a thing called a dvd player. It was amazing I didn’t have to log in to Netflix or HBO. Just put this funny looking disk thingy in and bam! No ads no nothin’, just a movie.
I also have been reading from printed paper in a binding apparently called a book?
I got so bummed out from politics I started reading, Winnie the Pooh, the book my mom read to me, still have it.
No violence, no backstabbing, no politics, no sex, no betrayal, just Pooh and his friends. Remember what that was like?
Just Pooh and Piglet having adventures … now they are honored with a ridiculous plastic sculpture in downtown.
We have all been Eeyores over the past couple of years, our thoughts are always followed up with negative replies like:
“If it is a good morning, which I doubt.”
“Wish I could say yes, but I can’t.”
“Most likely lose it again, anyway.”
“I’d say thistles, but nobody listens to me, anyway.”
Lastly my favorite to describe just how much we want to be unhappy:
“Sure is a cheerful color. Guess I’ll have to get used to it.”
I don’t know about anyone else,
but I could use a lot less Eeyore,
and a lot more Pooh.
