I just had the most fun shoot with pho­tog­ra­ph­er Ben Lehman. 😸

It’s for a su­per lo­cal com­mu­ni­ty show ben­e­fit­ing a near­by no kill an­i­mal shel­ter; Sur­face Creek in Cedaredge, Col­orado.

Do­minic and I both love an­i­mals and it’s a great way to get in­volved with the lo­cal com­mu­ni­ty in a way that mat­ters. 🙂

Also, I’ve al­ways been a cat so this had to hap­pen even­tu­al­ly.

Ti­tled Va­ri­eté, there’ll be two per­for­mances: Mati­nee and evening, 10 Au­gust 2019. Keep an eye on the Sur­face Creek An­i­mal Shel­ter Face­book page for show post­ings.

There’s go­ing to be dance and cir­cus and silks and singing …

I’m do­ing some ground acts an aer­i­al piece, I’m in a a few of the dance num­bers. Dom is do­ing cyr wheel and we have an­oth­er cir­cus per­former.

And there’s a dog agili­ty act as well. Dogs AND cats!

Me with Gina, who teach­es dance so she’s chore­o­graph­ing a bunch of her stu­dents.

I also have a cameo in a song – with a trash­can, be­cause that’s where cats live.

Su­per ex­cit­ing to be able to do all this with cos­tumes and pho­tos and have it all go to a great cause. ❤️
