re­mem­ber when your par­ents joined fb …
yaah i thought that was odd …
to­day i found out my daugh­ter has had a fb ac­count …
and she has an alias …

O_o …

i joined 10 years ago so i could play mafia wars …
found out she joined to get free gems for a game she plays …

she even won a draw­ing con­test …
and won a spe­cial rare char­ac­ter for her game .…

i couldn’t be more proud of her …
but but but but …

i un­der­stand she means no harm …
but i cant say that for every­one on fb …
in­formed her mom …
mom was stunned …

right­ly so …

i tried to de­fend the in­no­cent in­ten­tion …
but know­ing what kind of creeps there are in this world …
my heart kin­da hurts …

and now i have to re­con­sid­er my own way of ex­pres­sion on so­cial me­dia …

still wait­ing on her to ac­cept my friend re­quest …
i want to be sup­port­ive and al­low her to find her path …
but i also want to pro­tect her …

holy smokes …
wtf just hap­pened to­day?

i got­ta to do some soul search­ing …
