i had a dream last night that somehow i ended up running a three tier FLOMM extravaganza at an event site where each tier was performance-based (comedy/improv/burlesque), performance-based (music/drama/Shakespeare) and a dealer space that was mor like a really unusual bazaar/flea market with (of course) tons of rare books for sale, zines and FLOMMIST-made whiskey (which I’ve been told is illegal). AND I had no idea about this, but we somehow had booked Louis CK as talent in the comedy thing and one of the organizers was also worried CK might stand on stage and jerk off in front of everyone. Right before he was to appear on stage, a riot broke out and we had to figure out how to keep him from being killed by a bunch of really angry, violent liberals (one guy kept yelling that CK killed his sister and wanted revenge). We were also in a rural space accessible by one road in and out – kinda like this place – and because of global warming, ocean levels started to rise eventually flooding everything, wiping out the road in and out, including this totally fucked up small house one of the bands managed to get people to stay at. We had to evacuate and leave all our stuff behind and we ended up wandering thru another small town to escape the flood where they had incredible handmade tortillas, cochinita, pozole and really fresh fish (fish were everywhere cause of the flood) but no one had any cash on them and they didn’t take Apple Pay.
