It was a beautiful, historical day in Korea,
but it is sickening to see no government elites in Japan with compliments in the media –
and the view that they only see the end of the Korean War as cautionary action,
while evidently being left out of the game.
A wise man says “don’t see malice in what can be explained as incompetence,” but I see both in the Japanese government.
I am proud of countless things in Japan,
but the politics isn’t one of them,
and frankly this is the biggest reason why I do not want to work professionally in Japan.
Anyway, congratulations Korea!
