Chris Anderson

It is a choking up moment in the realization that we are now in our third season of this podcast.

Milk and I talk about how weird it is that we are ahead of the game this season. “Oh, we got that episode done and it’s ready to upload a week early?”

Is this what it is like to have your shit kind of together? I guess it is.

What is even more sweet is our guests. We have even more people genuinely excited for this podcast, which in itself is kick ass. I feel like I am in some form making a difference. The little achievement of spreading art and giving people access to it in multiple forms is an actualization.

In the first season I could speak to how I felt I had failed. Today, amongst the third season, it is clear to me I have not failed.

I am grateful to the community I’ve grown to know in Sacramento and as it slowly branches worldwide. It took the willingness of my peers and fellow artists to make this podcast a legitimate possibility.

My partner and co-host Milk is a rock. He has followed behind my vision but also endlessly pushed it further and better than I could do alone. Our audio people are the fucking best. Brian and David, Thank you! You make us voices people can actually hear and you teach us to know what the eff to do. We at the core of it wouldn’t be much of anything without you.

You don’t know when you start a project all that it will do. Behind the scenes you would have seen me cry, become frustrated, focused, silly, and trying to organize myself and my team the best I could.

Don’t give up on your art. That’s the focus of our first BONUS mini episode (below).

I have seen how this show has opened doors for myself and others, all I can do is continue to hope that it opens the art doors for all those who listen.
