I hung it on me wall! You’re quite an artist.
In an­swer to your ques­tion, yes we do have Ham­burg­ers and Fries in Eng­land, but we call French Fries “chips”!

When I was very young I’d read old Rolling Stone and Bill­boards and be amazed how so many bands that sold mil­lions of records in the 1970s could have van­ished from cul­tur­al mem­o­ry.

How, I won­dered, could some­one make art that im­pact­ed so many lives and then just dis­ap­pear from the con­ver­sa­tion?

Then I lived through the 90s and now I un­der­stand all too well.

Turns out all those Col­lec­tive Soul fans just went on about their lives.

 

And that Sev­en Mary Three song was just a grunge mook rip-off of Warrant’s very re­gret­tably ti­tled “Un­cle Tom’s Cab­in.”

 

For now, live through my funk.
