boo hooo

I just overheard this sunburned white girl with feathers tied into her hair wearing a shirt that says ‘Bernie Fucking Sanders 2016’ angrily ask if there’s any gluten free beer at this brewfest and I pretty much just wish I could lift off into space and leave earth forever right now.

On that thought,

voting for Obama once or twice and then voting for Trump isn’t proof that anyone who did so wasn’t a racist.

Those people saw an opportunity to ask what the black man could finally do for them for a change, after a lifetime of believing that the black man was given all the good stuff after it was taken away from the white man.

When he failed to deliver the way they felt he should, they voted Trump. Because despite all their excuses, deep down inside, they knew damn good and well a woman sure as fuck wasn’t going to put up with or placate their stupid asses.

Straight up racism wasn’t on the ticket in 2008 or 2012.

And the farther we get from last year’s election, especially in light of recent events, the suggestion that people who voted for Trump weren’t racist simply because they previously voted for Obama only continues to become more disingenuous and embarrassing.

Also,
every non-white group in existence has been called every horrible thing you can imagine for centuries, not to mention they’ve been whipped, beaten, hung from trees, attacked by dogs, raped, slaughtered, sprayed with hoses, intentionally infected with diseases, shot indiscriminately by cops …

But yes, let’s really pour all our sympathy out for the blue collar white man whose feewings got hurt because someone called him a dumb redneck online or made fun of him in a political cartoon and he was just so upset he went and voted Trump.

Boo fucking hoo.
