In­ter­na­tion­al Women’s Day, my ass.

While in­di­vid­ual women dis­cov­er how to tran­scend cen­turies-old sup­pres­sion of the feminine, 

we are far torn from giv­ing the fem­i­nine its place in form­ing our sys­tems, gov­ern­ment, and so­cial constructs. 

The cri­tique of pa­tri­archy is not about power,

it’s about con­scious­ly and un­con­scious­ly sev­er­ing the fem­i­nine from her own knowing. 

So In­ter­na­tion­al Women’s Day

thus

is re­al­ly just a rubric to mea­sure how the col­lec­tive mas­cu­line is do­ing in its abil­i­ty to serve and pro­tect na­ture itself, 

and women’s lives 

and in­stincts, nur­tur­ing, intuition:
