güd to see so many non-republican politicians are ‘concerned’

To start, I’ve seen a lot of peo­ple pre­dict­ing that Trump’s ego won’t tol­er­ate Elon steal­ing his spot­light and he’ll get rid of him soon.

I don’t think that’s go­ing to hap­pen. I think this is ex­act­ly what Trump wanted. 

Trump is 78. He’s a HARD 78. He’d rather be on the golf course or in his pent­house eat­ing Big Macs.

The guy is in love with him­self but he def­i­nite­ly ran for pres­i­dent again in part so he could avoid go­ing to jail. He saw an op­por­tu­ni­ty to take ad­van­tage of Elon’s unchecked wealth and in­flu­ence.

I’m no con­spir­a­cy the­o­rist but I ab­solute­ly would not be shocked what­so­ev­er if there was some off­shore ac­count with hun­dreds of mil­lions of Elon’s dol­lars set aside for Trump if he 1) lives through this term and 2) lets Elon do what­ev­er he wants for the next four years.

Elon Musk ab­solute­ly want­ed to be pres­i­dent, but the Con­sti­tu­tion lim­its that to nat­ur­al born cit­i­zens of the Unit­ed States. 

He found a loop­hole in Trump. And un­less he ei­ther gets bored, is Luigi’d, the de­moc­rats grow a spine and start rais­ing ab­solute hell, or peo­ple start lit­er­al­ly burn­ing shit down (or all of the above) we’re stuck with him be­cause this guy is lov­ing every minute of it and Trump doesn’t give a fly­ing fuck.
 

 

Just re­mem­ber that all of this go­ing on RIGHT NOW is not only the fault* of Trump vot­ers send­ing him back to the White House, but yes, it is also the fault of all those peo­ple who proud­ly de­clare that they don’t like Trump and didn’t vote for him but are “cen­trists” or what­ev­er and they still vote for re­pub­li­cans in oth­er positions. 

All but one re­pub­li­can (Mitch Mc­Connell, in a sur­pris­ing twist) vot­ed to con­firm RFK Jr. as HHS Sec­re­tary. No de­moc­rats or in­de­pen­dents did. 

So now we have a con­spir­a­cy the­o­rist and vac­cine de­nier with no med­ical back­ground and no pri­or work in pub­lic health lead­ing the agency re­spon­si­ble for pro­tect­ing the health of the Amer­i­can public.

To dumb it down: If you’ve ever pat­ted your­self on the back over the last six­teen years for be­ing “bal­anced” or “mod­er­ate” be­cause you vot­ed for re­pub­li­cans along­side de­moc­rats, this is also your fault. It’s the fault of your friends and fam­i­ly mem­bers who pull that lame brained shit too. 

And, yes, I also blame any­one who thinks “it’s a safe bet to vote for a re­pub­li­can sen­a­tor or con­gress­man.” No, no it isn’t.
 

* We can talk about how pa­thet­ic and in­ef­fec­tive the de­moc­rats are all day long and how they run bad cam­paigns and don’t ac­tu­al­ly care, at least not enough to re­al­ly be proac­tive or take off the gloves, and be­lieve me I think all of those things are true, but in the end, a ma­jor­i­ty of Amer­i­cans vot­ed for this and who­ev­er con­tin­ues to vote re­pub­li­can also vot­ed for this and that’s why we have what we’ve got.
