I hope everyone in the US who had a moment to take part in the total solar eclipse did.
I hope you got your glasses or you made your boxes. Or you ran out with a colander casting its dotted shadow to the ground. I hope that even if you were stuck in an office you used the ENDLESS TECHNOLOGY at your fingertips to watch a stream.
I hope you took part in an experience, however small it was where you were located. Not because it was a fad.
Not because media has been thrusting it down everyone’s throats for the last couple weeks.
Because this was a beautiful, tiny instance where the Universe reminded us that we are small. We are insignificant in the vast size and quantity of the ever expansion and transaction of cosmic energy.
That the same stuff were are made of, literally exists outside our own world and creates something we, as tiny specs, define as a Celestial event.
I hope you saw this and you felt small. Not in a weak way, but in a freeing, inspired leap for joy.
I hope you experienced this so that years from now you can reflect and pull from a wonderful and beautiful memory. That for a small moment, you felt the awe of the cosmos and it filled you with curiosity and joy.
