2. An Evening of Fashion

MiX Downtown presents new works by Project Runway designers Emily Payne, Melissa Fleis, and Richard Hallmarq with local designers Extra Cheese, Jimmie Joy Jewels, Maisha Bahati, and Samuel Rose. 3. Walk the Boulevard Live
Del Paso Boulevard, North Sac
Other local FLOMMISTS will have music at Woodlake Tavern, Uptown Pizza and King Cong brewery tomorrow evening and a gallery show at Never Board (1525 Del Paso Boulevard and 1518 Del Paso boulevard) all day and Artspace1616 from 6–9. Info.
4. El Grupo Espectaculo
923 20th Street, Midtown
One of my favourite galleries, b. sakata garo presents a large group show (18 artists, including a few FLOMMISTS) working in multiple medias. 6–9pm. Website.

5. Three Photography Shows
2015 J Street, Suite 101, Midtown
Viewpoint Photographic Arts Center explores architecture and abstraction in the Main Gallery featuring Douglas Vincent: Icons of Architecture & Gary E. Karcz: Architecture and Abstraction and surrealism in the Step Up Gallery highlighting Jerry Kapler: Manipulating Reality. The collections work together to create a distinct sense of place with a focus on alternate views of the world around us. Deets.
6. Best-of-the-Best 2.0
2500 J Street, Midtown
CK Art presents their second group show of some of their best, top-selling contemporary artists. Go buy some real art. Info.
7. Akira Beard: Life Drawing
2508 J Street, Midtown
GroundSwell Art presents artist Akira Beard: Life Drawing. Second Saturday guests are invited to experience the most complete and expansive representation of this body of work to date. Transcendental and primal in nature, Beard’s drawings reveal expressions of love, sensuality, turmoil and grief. And in Gallery II, visitors can see the vibrant, popping, graphic paintings by Sacramento artist John Horton. Horton is also part of Wide Open Walls and his outdoor mural can be seen on 19th St between P & Q Streets. Info.
8. Pixelated Takkun

FLOMMIST-owned Oblivion Comics presents the work of Chris Botterill of Pixelated Takkun. Reception 6–9pm. Info.
9. ROBOT Gallery Show
1126 18th Street, Sacramento
Art of Toys presents the final day of the ROBOT gallery show that features works by Chris Cinder, Garry Gay, Robert Gordon and John Barrett. Plus, a free hands-on art activity will be out front. For all ages from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Info.
10. Still Life Variations and Juicy

Tim Collom Gallery presents an opening night reception with a double-dose of colorful paintings by two Sacramento artists, Patricia Tool McHugh and Leslie Hackard. Info.

Parade March starts at 3rd and N Street, ends at 10th and N Street.
