On the heels of our 423 RED event last week­end, THE SACRA­MEN­TO FRENCH FILM FES­TI­VAL kicks into gear at the his­toric Crest The­atre.

So if you didn’t get enough FRENCH at 423 RED, now you have TWO WEEK­ENDS of ex­cel­lent FRENCH FILM to ab­sorb in Sacra­men­to.

Plus, we will be resched­ul­ing Thomas Fritschi’s Ciné­ma His­toire: The French New Wave at a fu­ture FLOMM thing.

For now, go watch un peu de ciné­ma.

 

2.   laven­der heights tours
Sat­ur­day af­ter­noon   16 JUIN 2018

PRIDE MONTH con­tin­ues and Sacra­men­to Her­itage presents an af­ter­noon of guid­ed tours high­light­ing his­toric sites in mid­town Sacra­men­to sig­nif­i­cant to LGBTQ his­to­ry, col­lec­tive­ly known as Laven­der Heights.

Guid­ed tours will de­part from Laven­der Li­brary, Archives, and Cul­tur­al Ex­change (LLACE) each hour, start­ing at noon and re­peat­ing at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. Each tour will take about an hour.

NOR­CAL NOISE­FEST re­turns with SACRA­MEN­TO AU­DIO WAF­FLE #44 this SUN­DAY at The RED Mu­se­um in Sacra­men­to.

And Denise has been sourc­ing peach­es for the waf­fles them­selves. AND the ROAD VIRUS post-apoc­a­lyp­tic book­mo­bile will also be in tow.

And Microsoft’s Zo? She won’t be there.
