The whole bull­shit with Ka­vanaugh and now RGB is McConnell’s re­venge for De­moc­rats be­ing like “maybe we don’t nom­i­nate a man who wants to roll back the civ­il rights act” and “hey, we should lis­ten to Ani­ta Hill.”

If you haven’t watched this yet, you should. 

 

And as fun as it has been watch­ing peo­ple rest their hopes on Mr. ‘Binders Full Of Women,’ se­ri­ous­ly, when the fuck are we gonna get it with these MFrs?

The Re­pub­li­cans are not like the Dems. The Dems have a spec­trum of le­git­i­ma­cy, there are some strong lead­ers and some ter­ri­ble lead­ers in that par­ty with every­thing in between. 

Re­pub­li­cans are *all* trash. There’s not like an AOC of the Re­pub­li­can par­ty or what­ev­er. Their *key val­ue* is hi­er­ar­chy. They don’t dis­sent. They fol­low. It’s lit­er­al­ly their defin­ing char­ac­ter­is­tic dat­ing all the way back to the dawn of right wing po­lit­i­cal ide­olo­gies cen­turies ago.

Re­pub­li­cans all be­lieve peo­ple are fun­da­men­tal­ly bad and must be con­trolled by who­ev­er gets to the top of the pile in or­der pro­tect so­cial stability.

They don’t care how they got to the top, the fact that they are at the top is proof of their in­trin­sic merit.

They will also de­fend this hi­er­ar­chy against any­one who moves for eq­ui­ty. They will op­press and at­tack and sub­ju­gate to keep the so­cial hi­er­ar­chy in­tact. It’s their core belief.

This is the world­view they op­er­ate from and I know it’s hard be­cause it’s so non­sen­si­cal when you’re op­er­at­ing from the val­ue sys­tems of the Left that in­clude equal­i­ty, fair­ness, and justice.

How­ev­er, if you put the un­der­stand­ing of their be­liefs in hi­er­ar­chy in your brain, every­thing they do not only makes sense with­in their con­structs but is hel­la fuck­ing pre­dictable and you won’t have to con­stant­ly have your hopes dashed against the rocks and you can fo­cus your valu­able, al­ready fuck­ing strained be­yond rea­son, en­er­gy on what the fuck to do to fuck­ing stop them.
