“Ok y’all. It’s civics lesson time. Every citizen of the United States needs to understand the below video is authoritarian nationalist (i.e. fascist) propaganda, period.
“It repeatedly promotes the idea of ‘us vs them’ saying over and over ‘their’ this and that, not ‘our’ this and that, and then goes on to promote violence against ‘them.’ To be clear, ‘they’ and ‘them’ are our fellow Americans.
“I’m not even going to touch on the gun debate that is awash throughout our country, nor the other many issues that our citizens are divided on, that is not the point of this post [from Facebook]. But, the following video by the NRA in anti-American, period. It transcends said debate and goes straight to promoting a violent fascist police state.
“We are a nation of the people, by the people, and for the people. The police serve us, the do not control us. The United States of America was formed on, indeed was the first nation to fully embrace within its Constitution, the idea of a society based upon Liberal Democracy.
“I am not talking about the traditional conservative-liberal paradigm of U.S. politics. All of that, or at least the vast majority of it, has existed within the framework of our society being a Liberal Democracy.
“If you are confused about exactly what that means, [here’s] a Wikipedia page … Let me be as clear as I can be, if you support the ideas promoted by the NRA in this video you are an enemy of the Constitution of the United States of America, and yes – including its Second Amendment. The words within this video are protected by the First Amendment, though with its promotion of violence against our citizens it may very will represent a prosecutable crime, but regardless – it must be condemned as strongly as is possible with the words of our people, and more importantly with our votes. Make no mistake, our nation and its ideas of a free and just society are at stake.”

Right wingers aren’t your friends or your family or your co-workers. They are the Germans screaming at the rallies.
They deserve ONLY your scorn and angry invective.
Fuck all of them. We need to kick them out of office, exile them from society, and take our country back.
