‘tricky dick’ stuff

It’s re­al­ly dis­ap­point­ing when you have friends and fam­i­ly who don’t un­der­stand why mil­lions of Amer­i­cans are up­set and are protest­ing against the Pres­i­dent of the Unit­ed States.

Hope­ful­ly, your lack of un­der­stand­ing about women’s suf­frage, re­pro­duc­tive rights, mar­riage equal­i­ty, LBGTQ+ rights, fem­i­nism, im­mi­gra­tion and just BA­SIC HU­MAN RIGHTS won’t hold you back in the forth­com­ing years.

Com­pla­cen­cy is the first step on a slip­pery slope that far too many peo­ple have adopt­ed. I may not be the smartest dude you know, and I can’t say I live my life ac­cord­ing to anybody’s rules oth­er than my own, but I’d like to be­lieve that I’m smart enough to take a stand against in­jus­tice in any form.

Here’s hop­ing the next few years aren’t as full of big­otry, ho­mo­pho­bia, misog­y­ny and class­less­ness as they are shap­ing up to be just this past week.
